Marketing generally refers to market-oriented corporate management, which should focus on the lasting satisfaction of customer needs. Marketing thus goes far beyond the classic sales function and is rather a management philosophy than a mere sales instrument. The goal of the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Marketing is to offer high-quality, research-oriented teaching at a high didactic level within the framework of the Bachelor's programme and to promote the personal development of our students. The subject-specific guiding principle of teaching is the "generalist marketing manager", who has a broad theoretical and methodological knowledge, can act successfully in various contexts, not only in companies, and is academically adaptable.
