Chair for Entrepreneurship and Finance

The chair focuses on entrepreneurship and financing. The focus is on entrepreneurial finance as the interface between these two areas. Particular emphasis is placed on start-ups and growth companies. In teaching, the chair provides well-founded insights into the theory and practice of entrepreneurship and financing. The teaching programme enables students to recognise and evaluate forms of financing for owner-dominated companies, to build up and apply basic knowledge in empirical finance research and to develop general business problem-solving skills. In particular, students learn the essential steps required to start a business.
